It’s wonderful, perhaps a bit scary, and probably filling your thoughts and conversations much of the time these days. I would be delighted to be a part of your special day. I can, of course, officiate at your ceremony. (It may be a close race as to who enjoys it more – the two of you, or me!) | We will have at least one face-to-face meeting prior to the ceremony. That will give us a chance to get to know and feel comfortable with one another, and to begin to choose the style, format and content of your ceremony.
For a simple ceremony for a couple who have known one another for some time and are already in agreement about what they want, this may be sufficient. For couples who plan a more elaborate ceremony, would appreciate some guidance in thinking through exactly what they want, or would like some strategies to reduce stress resulting from the almost to-be-expected pre-ceremony tension within the couple or with family or friends, additional sessions can be arranged. When it is requested and appropriate, I can bring the expertise and experience from my many years as a couples and family therapist to my work with couples as we are planning their ceremonies. | ||||||||||
